Too funny. Beautiful pictures you both have. Are you sure it is not a dew berry? I like flowers of all shapes and sizes and colors. Makes the spirit soar.
Yes Carol, another nice photo, on par with Linda's, haha. What color for next week? I really enjoy all the photos, esp. of flowers, so please keep them coming.
Look forward to reading what you write about on these wild blackberries in your future post
Hummer, dew berry?? I looked it up, the blackberry and dew berry have a very similiar bloom according to photos I found here:
http://www.wildmanstevebrill.com/Plants.Folder/Blackberries.html
The center area of the dew berry looks to have a almost black little heads, where the blackberry looks more brown in color (to me anyway). Seems they are related, tho.
There are abundant black berries here, I have never seen so many. The bloom is so much larger than I knew. Friends John and Donna are responsible for the identification, they are much better at plants than I am.
Barbara, ask Linda what color! She posts, I go looking in my collection. I don't always have a similiar photo, but, sometimes I do!
Linda says, "How about daffodils since I have already taken photos of mine"...lol I'm almost afraid though since Carol has a brand spankin' new camera.
Well, almost NO daffodils down here, but, I have at least one from my yard last year that is really nice. And, that would be with the old camera! LOL Took our first outing with the new one today, don't even have them off the camera, so, I have no idea how good or bad that brand spankin' new camera really is!
Carol - Thank you so much for the "Ancestors Approved Award"! Sorry it has taken me so long to say thanks. My mom has been in the hospital all week so I've been spending my time with her. The pictures are just beautiful keep them coming! Terri
