Due to a little conflict between my old scanner and my new computer, and no driver upgrades available, Man had to buy me a new scanner. Reflections has her new scanner, delivered, software installed and scanning commences. First thing I fussed with is a project that has been on the back burner for almost a year.
One of my favorite genie things to do is volunteer. We live in Lenawee County, Michigan and I have been volunteering here for some time. Last year just before we left town (you know, THE Trip), the Lenawee County Family Researchers were gifted with a number of obituaries (ok, a LOT of obituaries) and a smaller number of funeral or memorial cards. The obituaries have been appearing in our newsletter. The funeral cards will be online, at a new blog, just for memorials of Lenawee.
