The Mellow Colors of Fall

Copyright 2010, CABS for Reflections From the Fence

Fall is not all about bright reds, oranges and yellows:

Hope your weekend is glorious, sunny and full of fall wonders.

Carol and Man are planning to be busy washing Tana's roof  (change of plans).

Man plans on spending the afternoon watching the HUGE game in these parts, University of Michigan VS Michigan State (go Blue).

It is also Appleumpkin Festival weekend. Not sure we can pack that in - - we shall see - - this is now on, before the game.

Hmmm, I think I like the change of plans, Appleumpkin Festival and watching the Blue beat the Green , or the Green beating the Blue, is a lot more fun than washing Tana's roof, even if that roof REALLY needs that wash!  LOL

Okay, I am clueless. What kind of tree are these leaves from? Lovely colors.

There's a football game today? Really? The chatter (or trash talk) in our far-flung & divided family has drowned out everything else.

I'm with you - but don't tell my daughter in law ;D

Barbara, NOT a tree, a plant, ground, not sure of name, will see if I can discover later.

I'm spending the day, in our GLORIOUS weather, hanging clothes on the new clothes line hubs put up for me! Loving the cooled down sunshine of Fall!

Hmm...Appleumpkin Festival and football vs washing Tana's roof...sounds like a typical case of creative procrastination to me. Go for it!!! (The festival and football that is)

Barbara, I am leaning towards a Coral Bells, but, will not guarantee it, I did not take photo of any signage. It was in a shade garden with Hostas. Photo was taken mid September.

Mary, now, that is some fine fall living, clothes on the line, drying. Ya, I can almost smell the clothes now.

Michelle, sorta procrastination, sorta, Man's arms were so sore from yesterday's Tana cleaning he begged off. Works for me, the game is on, score 0 - 0 , so far! LOL

We've had a drought here in NH so a lot of the trees look like these leaves this year. After getting over the disappointment of not seeing scarlet and gold, I'm enjoying these muted, burnished bronzy colors....
