Still being lazy. Slow start. Cooked some eggs, cleaned up and we went in search of Mukluk Land.

GPS and maps had us go the wrong direction. So, we had lunch out instead.  Asked directions, go thataway. Well. DUH.

Found it.  What a wild spot!  Totally fun. And, ohhhh, a learning opportunity, lots of nice little tidbits of local and Alaskan history printed and spaced throughout the grounds.

The collection is vast and interesting.

Includes a old US tank - -

Just one of MANY snowmobiles - -

Maybe I should change my banners to this photo, cause it's true!!

Yep, they make them thar skeeters HUGE up here - -

Any good collection of "stuff" must have outhouses - - another one from the collection plays a nice part of the 4th of July celebrations - - stay tuned.

Then there is this doll collection.  Good grief, there are rooms and rooms, these two photos are just the surface of the totality of this - -

Love old trucks - -

And, every good out door museum MUST have a boat - -

Santa's what??  Much to my surprise, this was in the 4th parade in Tok.  Santa and all.

More snowmobiles, we would not expect less - -

When you complete your tour, you are invited in to play a bit of skee-ball, Man scored 250.

This was a fun thing to fill some time with.  We were not sorry we visited.  I mean, if you leave with a smile on your face, just how bad can it be??  Answer, not one bit bad.

My back is sore from yesterday’s cleaning and stuff. Not pulled muscles, just unused ones. Sigh.

We did a couple of loads of laundry. Could have waited, but - - -

It’s 5. Just saying.
