Well, this has been quite the exercise, hope you enjoyed it. It took me a lot longer than I thought it would. Along the way, I added several new memorials to Find A Grave and photos to several other memorials at Find A Grave. Funny how that happens! LOL
Once found,, I had to include it,
could have saved a lot of time and used this one for:
Photo, Cross, Bird, Angel
Shell Banks Baptist Church Cemetery

Burial place of:

(Isn't it great??)

Wonderful post! I have a Civil War ancestor buried in Lenawee County, Michigan.
Where Dorene? If you need a photo, let me know.
Carol,
You are too kind! Long before I knew what a blog was, my hubby drove me up there, and we snapped a photo of Jesse Parker's tombstone. It is not the clearest photo...but it is at:
http://tinyurl.com/2u2tcct
The location is in Weston Village Cemetery in Fairfield Township of Lenawee County, Michigan.
We had a nice visit, and also stopped at the public library in Adrian. We took back roads, and it was a very pleasant drive. Jesse was the brother of my GGG Grandfather.
That last one has flower too!
Now I know you are organized, to be able to find those as quickly as you did. I declare you the winner of ? Nice display.
I think I like the older tombstones best. I don't have many of them in my files. The hand with flower, bird and tree are GREAT! It's obvious you put alot of time and consideration into your GYR blog.
