Gulf Islands National Seashore, near Pensacola Florida

Copyright 2012, CABS for Reflections From the Fence

We had been wanting to visit this park for over 2 years, it seemed to be one thing after another and we just had a hard time getting there to see it. Actually the park runs from Florida back to Mississippi.  We visited the Perdido Key area, which is rather small, but, ohhhh, simply beautiful.

We stayed for the sunset:

Visits to this national seashore have been added back to our bucket list, next time we are in the area, we really must spend more time here.

We spent a whole day out there this winter--and did not see it all. You are right, it is a beautiful area. We found the fort very interesting

Peaceful looking place, complete with a fence, sunset, sand and birds.

Tis lovely --- I am especially envious, what with our pre Easter snow!
