Declo, A Day of Reality/Rest: The Estate Takes on Alaska

We await Dorian.  Condolences to the Bahamas.  May God have mercy on you.

We are staying put today, laundry, life stuff.  And, staying off the roads while the weekend warriors and holiday travelers get home.  We will rest as well.

The tour is pretty much officially over.  We have determined that the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Cedar Breaks are just not going to happen, this tour anyway.  We are tired, have issues waiting at home and to take these last two bucket list items in would mean the commitment of at least one more week.  And, likely, closer to two weeks more.  Overall we did really well with the “hoped for” items.  We even added a couple of stops in Alaska that we were unsure of.  So, homeward bound we are.

It was quite warm again today. But, the laundry is caught up, we have done a bit of organizing, cleaning, and have planned the next few days.

A wee bit of cow manure odor about, and a bit of a nice sunset.

OOO, I see a bit of sliver of the moon - -
