Milton West Virginia to Pilot Mountain North Carolina:: Rolling, Rolling, Keep Them Wheels a Rolling - Winter 2015-2016

Our next days drive took us from Milton West Virginia to Pilot Mountain North Carolina.

I got a so so photo of the West Virginia State Capital Building as we passed through Charleston.

We were nicely surprised when we found fall colors of a lovely kind while in Virginia.  Yes, a runaway truck ramp too.

The day was full of memories and beautiful country side.  I have deep family roots in West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina.

Another lovely days ride ended near Pilot Mountain North Carolina.  Our campground provided us this view, not bad eh??

We spent 2 nights here, due to a serious rain event.  We had no desire to drive in the deluge and our schedule was flexible enough, so we stayed.  It was a good plan.

Next, on to the area of Wilson North Carolina, where we would spend several days visiting a dear friend.  And, adopting that new member of the family.
