In Honor Of Those That Served

Copyright 2012, CABS for Reflections From the Fence

Just north of Tupelo Mississippi along the Natchez Trace Parkway there is a small cemetery traditionally believed to be the last resting place of 13 Confederate soliders.

The original markers disappeared long ago, in 1940 marble replacement markers were placed, they were stolen. The National Park Service has placed these 13 markers.

They served, they were grieved, they are remembered.
