This week Man and I had a meetup with Karen and Brian of Linkpendium.
First we drove by the Octagon Barn.
We had a personal tour of their home, freshly finished (well, almost finished) and filled with tons of architectural interest, great windows, french doors, lots of built in storage, beautiful ceramic tiles in the bathrooms and kitchen, and a hallway that just screams, "bowl in me!" After meeting Diablo, the beautiful black kitty and the Siberian Huskies, McKinley and Denali, (the outside kitties were in hiding till later) Brian offered to give us the tour of Linkpendium. Being semi-geeks, or rather, geek wanna be(s), Man and I rather jumped at the offer.
The supply room, parts and more parts, many see through boxes, smart choice Brian!
And, the works!
Wires! Lots of wires! After seeing this organized madness I told Brian I feel SOOO much better about my wires and cords and my computer hookups! I have NO wires and cords compared to this!
Man enjoyed studying the electrical and air conditioning in the building, we both enjoyed looking at lots of computers, gear, and more gear!
Thanks Brian for the great tour!
Karen meantime was preparing a nice meal for us, salad, pizza and desert. YUMMY! We spent several more hours chatting about life and family and research and - - -
Pretty sure we had outstayed our welcome, we took photos, Carol taking a photo of Karen and Brian of Brian taking a photo of Carol and Man, (note, over their heads just one of the architectural delights of their home).
And, so ended another meetup. We cannot thank Karen and Brian enough, the tour of the house and Linkpendium and dinner and fellowship were tops!
