Fortune Hunting, 1902 :: FAIL

Copyright 2015, CABS for Reflections From the Fence

Published in the Arkansas City Daily Traveler, Arkansas City, Kansas on October 25,  1902.

(For the short back story, see Fortune Hunting, 1892.)

If this two sentence blurb is to believed, Aaron was very serious about his search for fortune.  Seems four years later he went to merry ole England after all?

Too bad it seems it was all a fail.

"Aaron Lashbrook was in England hunting up an estates to which he was an heir.   He found it not."

And, of course, I will now shimmy down the shiny hole of genie research to see if I can find Aaron on any ship manifest lists.  Of course.

Love the end sentence. "He found it not." That opens questions too.
Awesome find. Go Carol!

Thanks Fran. Preliminary research failed to find any indication of a trip to England. We shall see - - -
