The 2019 Version of the Dreaded Holiday Letter

Happy Holidays from New Orleans.

Surprise!

2019, what can we say - - You were epic!  There was that high school graduation of the grandtwins and their acceptance to the University of Michigan where they are studying engineering.

There was the time spent early in the year that we spent time in the Sedona Arizona area, where we had snow three times,  we hiked a lot.

There was the "half way round the circumference of the earth" trip to Alaska. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.  Well, probably for us, anyway.  I kept a daily journal of our experiences and of course, lots of photos.  I blogged it, then, Google, Blogger and Google Photos corrupted my posts.  And, I redid them.  I hope you all find the posts worthy. We still feel that Banff, the Icefields and Jasper National Park in Canada were our favorite days and places.  We ticked off quite a few bucket lists items during that 3 months and over 12,000 miles.

Fall brought many doctors and dentists appointments. We spent Thanksgiving with the kids and grandtwins.  A very nice day full of great eats.

Then, came time for planning our winter get away, and next thing we know, we loaded The Estate, leaving Tana in the yard, and headed out.

And, here we are, in New Orleans for the Christmas holiday.  Why?  Why not?

May your lives be blessed, as well as your holiday season.  Enjoy your family.  Peace.
