In fact, the temperature t...We were there in July! In fact, the temperature the day before reached 108 degrees and our family wimped out. We were pulling a Coleman pop-up and just couldn't imagine being able to enjoy camping that night so we opted for a motel. That is why we were able to get up so early and make the sunrise the next day! Looking back, I am so glad we made the decision we did. I loved the Badlands and would go back any time. I have some great pictures and even better memories. These pictures are really pretty.
