Both he and my grandma are buried at NAS Pensacola Barrancas cemetery. It is a beautiful place to show the people there and their sacrifices they made (whether they died in action or not they did sacrifice things in life to serve our military).
It was nice to stumble upon your blog about the cemetery and the wondrous beauty it entails. Thank you.
RIP grindad, 1 SGT Roy L StraughnAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14318503743156898941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4369519054620493278.post-31249611079810433902012-02-29T17:24:20.788-05:002012-02-29T17:24:20.788-05:00Your last photo is very nice, regardless what you ...Your last photo is very nice, regardless what you did to make it that way. I think it's something to do with the fact that all those stones represent such sacrifice. I've come across a few 'zinkers' in my travels, but did not know what they were, so thanks for including that info..

Cheers,
JenniferÉire Historianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04588116386284997687noreply@blogger.com
