She was Margaret Louise McLaury McAdams, also a china painter. My siblings and I have several pieces painted by Aunt Maud. She was very generous. We all proudly display her work in our homes.

You are correct about Aunt Maud’s date of birth. I noticed the discrepancy as I was reading your article. According to my McLaury family history, she was born 15 AUG 1875 • Troy, Lincoln, Missouri. And died at age 96 in 1971.

Mother: Virginia "Jennie" Washington Bryan McLaury(1849–1940)
Death: 1 Jul 1940 • Blackwell, Kay

Father: William Washington Bryan (1808–1892)
Death: 08 Jan 1892 • Troy, Lincoln, Missouri

Information on this family is on Ancestry.com in the McAdams-McLaury Family Tree.Norma Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10167363560981730875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4369519054620493278.post-88315240204336570682019-05-13T08:24:04.979-04:002019-05-13T08:24:04.979-04:00Still a great read second time around!
